Peruvanmala


Peruvan mala is located near to ketchery (Eranellur), Thrissur and Guruvayoor are the nearest railway stations, located thrissur - KunnamKulam route and 16 kilometers away from thrissur, (just before Kechery Center).13 kilometers away from guruvayoor.Vehicles wont go to the top of the hill.The hill spreads to an area of about 50 acres and attracts all nature-lovers . The visiting season will starts by June, after summer-rain the grass starts growing and the hill top become beautiful. You can go to the hill up to half a km by vehicle. The way to the hill is slippery you need to take care about that.



This Hill is under the administration of dewaswam board.There is no construction had happened  apart from the holy shiva temple. its really a refreshing area especially in monsoon season. you can have a eagle eye of Thrissur, Kunnamkulam, Guruvayoor, Wadakanchery area. whole area is covered with greenish grass and small trees You cant find single point of land that penetrated by the public. Peacock is the very common thing  that you can find in this area.  Sunset is the another main attraction of this place and you can sea a rare bud of Mango and Banyan Tree (Aaalmavu :) ).





You can find the beautiful flower “Kannamthali” (Exacumbicolor) and starts blooming in August. It will become full bloom in the Onam season (August-September).
Its an ideal place to spend evening time along with your family.
One thing keep in mind don't left plastic covers on the hill top because its not just a tourist place.
